I, Hilda A. Arroyo graduated August 5th, 2008 from the University of Aesthetics-Touch Clinic located at 1357 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago as an Aesthetician. Passed the Illinois State Board Exam October 6th, 2008 and am currently serving as a State licensed Aesthetican @ Simply Thread Skin Care Salon located in Chicago.

After 10 years of serving as Chief of Staff for 10th Ward Alderman John A. Pope in the City of Chicago, I decided to take on the ever so changing & challenging Skin Care industry!  As a hobby, I mentored with Nisha Tanna (Tanna Salons) who taught me the art of facial threading. From there decided to enter the skin care field in order to provide a wide variety of skin care services to enhance one's natural beauty.

While attending the University I was able to practice and work from home which allowed me to build my loyal clientel. I am proud to say my clients consider me one of the best in the skin care industry. What fuels my passion and makes me proud is seeing the immediate results of skin treatments or waxing and the positive impact it has on my clients. Clients seem to leave the shop feeling better and more confident then when they came in. My clients have supported and allowed me the opportunity to open Simply Thread Skin Care Salon and therefore, unlike some other salons or spa's, I decided to leave the
"tricks of the trade" behind and just offer the basics of
good-affordable skin care. 

I am currently a member with the Associated Skin Care Professionals and will be looking to further my career and education in the industry. This will allow me to stay abreast of the latest techniques, products and equipment so that I may offer it to my clients @ Simply Thread.
